the Basica by Lynx Gallucci ![]() This page is not part of the contents of the Basica. If you print out the book, it is not required that you print this page and keep it with the others. The purpose of this page is to provide information about the book-related electronic documents you should now have. I've chosen HTML documents for transmitting the book over the option of using a word processing program because some people might not have such a program available on their computers. If you have directly downloaded or been e-mailed an electronic edition of the Basica, you should also have received, in addition to this informational HTML document, a folder named "Book" containing the following 26 files:
What you will find when you click on the link at the bottom of this page is the revised electronic edition of the Basica. The first HTML document should automatically open in a new window, with all successive pages also appearing in that same window (unless your browser is set to open all pages in separate windows). An electronic edition is intended for use in one of three ways: 1) viewing by electronic means, 2) printing out onto paper either in text or Braille, and 3) reading a rendition that is complete, accurate, and true to the original into an audio format for the visually impaired. No part of it should be added to, subtracted from, or otherwise altered in any way, nor should its format be altered in any way other than that listed above. This includes putting the book into any other kind of electronic document. Please also do not rent, sell, or otherwise attempt to make a profit by transmission of the book to others. It's all right to use direct quotes from the book elsewhere in articles and the like, as long as credit is given appropriately. Use of an electronic version of the book constitutes an honorable agreement by you to abide by the above. If you are not willing to agree to these things, please do not keep your copy of the book. It is my hope that the Basica will be of at least some small help to anyone who reads it, whether Basicanism is the path they will follow or not.
